The next video game arriving with the Pokemon brand attached to it is Pokemon Art Academy for the Nintendo 3DS, but up until this point the game was without a release date for North America. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have finally rectified that issue, however, announcing that the portable portrait game will be arriving on store shelves on October 24, 2014. While the premise of drawing Pikachu may not be as enticing as the arrival of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire later this November, the new Art Academy spin-off is designed to appeal to the inner artists of longtime fans....

After being rebranded as Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire, gamers immediately began anticipating the games’ arrival later this November. The only drawback that consumers have encountered during the series’ long and illustrious history, however, is that they’ve been unable to capture all of the Pocket Monsters without owning both versions. Admittedly, this tactic is a strong business strategy for Nintendo – leading to each core entry selling millions of copies as a result – so the company has announced plans to release a “Dual Pack” that includes both games....

A new Pikmin mobile game using Niantic’s Augmented Reality (AR) technology was announced Monday, and it’s slated to release later this year. First and foremost, Pokémon Masters is about to go undergo a slight name change. To celebrate its first year, Pokémon Masters will now be known as Pokémon Master EX in a future update, to signify how much the game has evolved since its release.
