Mega Abomasnow, the Grass and Ice-type Pokémon from the Unova region, will now be arriving in Pokémon Go. The list of Mega Evolved Pokémon in Pokémon Go is growing with this addition, but it’s not the only thing trainers should be excited about. Kyurem, the Legendary Pokémon, will return to Level 5 Raids giving trainers another chance at catching it. This year’s event will see Spring- and Egg-themed Pokémon appear more often in the overworld and hatch from Eggs. Similar to the Alolan forms in Sun and Moon, these regional forms change certain Pokémon’s typings, abilities and more. Galarian Weezing was the first shown, changing its typing from pure Poison to a Poison and Fairy-type Pokémon. It keeps the Levitate ability, but the trailer teases that it will also have a second ability that the Kanto Weezing never had....

This newsletter gives fans an update on all things Pokémon for the month. This method of distribution has been used in the past, but for this event it seemingly didn’t work as planned....

That’s where the spin-off games have always been a breathe of fresh air, and Nintendo has just pulled the curtain off of the latest installment in the Mystery Dungeon line of Pocket Monster titles – appropriately titled Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. As many have come to expect from this particular version of Pokemon, players will once again find themselves inhabiting an adorable Pokemon in lieu of a young child. With that in mind, players won’t be setting off on an adventure to become the best trainer around, but they are able to add monsters to their team by defeating them – although the process for obtaining additional monsters is much more random than in the core games....
Last week at PAX East we got a glimpse of the early sections of Portal 2 and were impressed by Valve’s dedication to improve the already amazing story-telling of the first game.
